While he was asking Zurui-sensei he managed to complete the seals for his Kagemane no Jutsu and connect it to her shadow all the while she was moving the sand away from his body. "Kagemane no Jutsu, successful" Shikamaru said with a rather annoyed tone, showing his disdain for fighting people of the opposite gender.

Shikamaru walked forward, forcing Zurui to walk towards him. He then tugged at his hair tie, letting down his hair and in turn Zurui did the same with her ribbon. He then released his Kagemane, and quickly snatched the ribbon out of her hand. "I suppose that means we pass" He said, still rather annoyed. Shikamaru then took his hair tie and tied his hair back up in the pineapple-esque style he favored.

(((OoC: I don't know Zurui didn't post anything for a while. So I guess that means it works to my advantage?)))

Zurui reached up and slipped her headband off. "Pretty good on the success," she said with a small smile. It quickly faded. "However, you get a zero for teamwork."

((( Well, I posted and waited for a while and then when you didn't answer for a long time I posted my next move, so I don't know if it's a double post but I did do them at different times.)))

Shikamaru sighed a little bit and said calmly"Whatever. Gaara isn't the type to actually want to work in teams, although I don't favor the selection for this team myself. And honestly, I was thinking about giving up anyway"
 He thought to himself 'A psychotic killer, a loudmouth girl, and me the "slacker". I don't know if this is going to turn out so well.'

Zurui smirked. "A ninja has to be ready to work with any team at any time. So deal with it," she said. Raising an arm, she said, "Okay, day's over! You can all go home!"
